Almost finished with the year. Are you ready for the holiday season? Are your blinds clean and working properly? Now is the time to get them repaired and cleaned. Our drop off location in Oswego is convenient and very fast. I personally repair the blinds and will do my best to turn them around for you. At times we have blinds that we can not repair, not all blinds can be repaired by us or anyone. Sometimes they have to be returned to the manufacturer. Now what can we do if that manufacturer went out of business? If you have any thoughts, please let me know. I have two clients with unrepairable woven wood blinds that were damaged by their operation of the product. Are they happy with Ogden Blinds? Nope. Would I fix them if I could, you betcha! When buying blinds, please remember that Hunter Douglas has the best product and they are very helpful with repairing blinds that we can not fix. Hunter Douglas products are the best quality blinds made, bar none. If you are trying save a couple bucks and think every product is the same between brands, you will find out the hard way sooner or later. Remember to ask questions about how blinds are cleaned. I see a company saying they are Eco Friendly. How can you be Eco Friendly when you do not recycle the dry cleaning solution used to clean draperies? Make sure the company is using phosphorous free chemicals. Go to the manufacturer's website to see how they recommend cleaning blinds. You can learn a lot in just a few clicks. Make sure your blind cleaner is doing the job correctly, Wow, how does time fly. Ogden Blinds is proud to announce we have been selected by Hunter Douglas to be able to provide warranty service for their blinds. We will fix blinds for any Hunter Douglas dealer or the public if the blind falls within the warranty. If the blind does not qualify, we do fix them for a small fee. We just completed 2 days of intense training in Houston and are awaiting the official roll out in January.
