How long has Ogden Blinds been in business?

Ogden Blinds was started in 1995 and has been selling Hunter Douglas window fashions since our inception.

Why are there two different Ogden Blinds locations?

Ogden Blinds has two locations so we can serve our customers faster and more efficiently. Our Algonquin location is ran by my brother Kevin Ogden and focuses on communities in our around the Algonquin, IL  area, while our Oswego location serves the towns surrounding Oswego, IL.

Does Ogden Blinds install shutters?

We love installing Hunter Douglas Shutters! Everyone on the team can sell and install shutters.

Does Ogden Blinds repair blinds and shades?

Ogden Blinds is an Authorized Hunter Douglas Repair Center and we can fix almost every blind made depending on parts availability.

Does Ogden Blinds repair other brands?

Yes we do. We can repair most brands depending on parts availability. We have repaired over 1000 blinds this year!

How long do blinds last?

Typically we are replacing blinds that are 20 years old or more. The ability to keep blinds longer than this is subject to the overall condition and availability of parts.

What’s your turnaround time for repairs?

Typically 24-48 hours for drop-offs.

Do you offer on-site repairs or do you take the blinds off-site?

Yes, we do offer on-site, mobile repairs for an additional trip charge. You can also bring the blind to us in Oswego if you wish to avoid an extra fee.

What experience does the salesman have that comes to my house?

30 years of installing, repairing and selling blinds. shades and shutters.  I work with residential, businesses and provide expertise to Interior Designers and builders. Certified from Hunter Douglas as a Master Installer, Pro Shutter Installer, Authorized Service Center for warranty repairs and an Authorized Dealer.

How soon can you install my blinds after the consultation?

Production and shipping typically take a total 3-4 weeks after the consultation. We will then contact you to schedule an instal.
