Custom Window Treatments

Buying blinds, shades & shutters

Ogden Blinds offers custom blinds, shades, interior shutters and motorized window treatments for residential and commercial spaces. We help customers compare products based on privacy, light control, insulation, appearance, ease of operation and budget.

Ogden Blinds carries Hunter Douglas Window Fashions and Alta Window Fashions. We have worked with Hunter Douglas products since Ogden Blinds opened in 1995.

Yes. Most of our consultations take place in your home. We bring samples, measure your windows and help you compare colors, materials and operating systems in the room where the window treatments will actually be installed.

Pricing varies significantly depending on the size of the window, product collection, fabric or material, operating system, specialty features and motorization. During an in-home consultation, we measure the windows and help you compare options that make sense for your needs and budget.

Yes. We professionally measure and install custom interior shutters, including Hunter Douglas shutter products. Shutters require especially accurate measuring and installation to achieve a clean, built-in appearance.

Yes. Motorized window treatments are one of our specialties. We work extensively with Hunter Douglas PowerView Automation for motorized shades and blinds, including product selection, installation, setup and troubleshooting.

Measuring & Installation

What to expect after you order

Ogden Blinds professionally measures your windows as part of the custom window treatment process. Accurate measurements are especially important for specialty windows, shutters, large shades and products installed inside the window opening.

Professional installation is included with Hunter Douglas blinds and shades purchased through Ogden Blinds. We'll measure your windows before ordering and return to professionally install the finished products once they arrive.

Production and shipping times vary by product and manufacturer. Many orders are typically ready for installation within several weeks. Once the products arrive, our team contacts you to schedule installation.

Ogden Blinds has more than 30 years of experience selling, measuring, installing and repairing blinds, shades and shutters. Our experience includes Hunter Douglas Master Installer training, shutter installation, motorization and authorized warranty service.
